The Student Experience

U of T Sport and Recreation survey

We want to know what you think!

Sport and Recreation (“Sport and Rec”) at U of T is committed to offering a range of programs and activities for all U of T students.

Complete the University of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education online survey. It should take about 5 minutes to complete. Once you have completed the survey, we have a small snack as a thank you. We value your feedback. Your responses will be confidential and will be presented back to program planners as part of a summary of everyone’s responses.

Exercise is Medicine

The University of Toronto campus division of Exercise is Medicine Canada, an initiative to use physical activity to make Canadians healthier.

Exercise is Medicine has three priorities for promoting student health:

  1. Promote inter-professional discussion and learning about exercise
  2. Strive to promote physical activity as a means of treatment and prevention of illness within the student population.
  3. Develop strong relationships between health professions to build resources, advocates and supporters of prescribing exercise as a means of treatment and disease prevention.

"I am a student. I’m an athlete. I’m a coach, tour guide, blogger and a whole slew of other things. But I’m a student above all. I always do my best to put academics first. Having said that, physical activity is important. So, here are 5 ways to stay active when you really, truly don’t have time."
